PRODUCTDETAILS
Tungsten Carbide Deep Drawing Die
What Is a Tungsten Carbide Deep Drawing Die?
A tungsten carbide deep drawing die is a precision tool used to form sheet metal into deep, hollow parts such as cups, cans, shells, and automotive components. Renyuan Mould manufactures high-quality carbide deep drawing dies for high-volume production.
Carbide drawing dies provide superior surface finish and long life compared to steel dies in demanding deep drawing operations.
Advantages
Tungsten carbide deep drawing dies offer excellent wear resistance, low friction, and polished die surfaces that prevent metal pickup and scoring. They maintain precise die radii and clearances over millions of parts, producing smooth, defect-free drawn components.
Die Components
Each deep drawing die set includes the die, punch, blank holder, and draw ring. All working surfaces are precision ground and polished to Ra 0.1 or better. Die radii and entry angles are optimized for smooth material flow.
Applications
Our deep drawing dies are used for automotive battery cases, cookware, kitchen sinks, aerosol cans, flashlight bodies, and electronic shielding cans. They serve the automotive, hardware, packaging, and appliance industries.
Material Grades
Fine-grain carbide grades with polished surfaces are preferred for deep drawing to prevent galling. Nickel-bonded grades are available for drawing stainless steel and other corrosive materials.
Custom Die Design
Renyuan Mould provides custom deep drawing die design based on customer part drawings, material, and production requirements. We assist with die geometry, radius design, and grade selection.
Quality and Delivery
Every die component is inspected for dimensions, surface finish, hardness, and visual defects. Die sets are marked for matching and delivered within two to four weeks worldwide.
